In 2017, the midfielder moved to south Finland and joined PK-35 Vantaa before leaving Finnish football for the first time to join Danish side Brøndby IF, where she scored 15 goals in 56 games. Making six appearances in the UEFA Women’s Champions League during her time in Denmark, Olga also won the Women’s Cup in 2018 and the Kvindeliga in 2019 with Brøndby.

A move to Sweden followed in 2019 as she signed for IF Limhamn Bunkeflo before making the move to Linköpings a year later, where she played 79 games and was named Most Valuable Player in 2022.

Having made the move to England, she was straight into the starting XI, making her debut in the 2023/24 WSL season opener at Chelsea and in her first home game as a Lilywhite, she opened her account for the Club in a 3-1 win over Bristol City at Brisbane Road.

She started the first six games of the campaign, part of a run that saw us unbeaten in five, Olga unfortunately sustained an MCL injury in our home clash with Liverpool in October, 2023, that ruled her out of action until January, 2024.

Making her return in the Women’s FA Cup fourth round tie against Sheffield United, where she provided the assist for Rosella Ayane’s stoppage-time winner, she went on to complete 20 games in all competitions, scoring once and assisting three times.

In her international career, Ahtinen made her senior debut in 2017 and was part of their squad for the UEFA Women’s Euro 2022. Having also helped her country to the Cyprus Women’s Cup in 2023, she has once again earned her spot in Finland’s squad for the UEFA Women’s Euro 2025, having featured regularly in their qualifying run.
