Player Season Stats

One of our own, defender Molly Bartrip re-joined us in July, 2021, from Reading.

Her arrival signalled her return to the club at which she began her footballing journey as a young player, having turned out for our Under-10s in the mid-2000s before going on to spend time in the youth systems at Charlton Athletic and Arsenal.

An ever-present in our starting XI for the 2024/25 campaign, the defender played every single minute for us in the WSL, completing 1,980 minutes – having also reached this feat in the 2021/22 season – and featured in all 27 games for us in all competitions.

In fact, she is the only Spurs player to have played every fixture in a single WSL season since our promotion to the top flight in 2019.

The experienced centre-back also became a Spurs centurion, achieving 100 appearances for the Club in May, 2025.

Wearing Lilywhite once again for the 2021/22 season, having spent her entire senior career with Reading to that point, Molly made the joint-most appearances in her maiden campaign for us with 27 games, playing every minute, and kept 11 clean sheets as we recorded a fifth-place finish in the WSL.

She also scooped the PFA Community Champion award after her work away from the pitch to raise awareness around the importance of mental health.

She continued to be one of the first names on the teamsheet for the following term, starting in all 22 WSL games and that saw her achieve a century of appearances in England’s top flight in April, 2023. Molly also opened her account for the Club with her first-ever goal in the WSL in the 8-0 win over Brighton & Hove Albion in October, 2022.

Named a vice-captain for 2023/24, the defender wore the armband on numerous occasions in the first half of the season in Bethany England’s absence, while she featured in 24 matches in total, starting 21 of those, including 16 starts from 18 appearances in the WSL.
