Lenna Gunning-Williams signed her first professional contract with the Club in July, 2023.

Having grown up in Enfield, the young forward progressed through our academy system and into the first team.

Following a successful loan spell with Ipswich Town in 2023/24, the young forward was a regular feature in our senior matchday squad last term. The 20-year-old Academy graduate has become a regular in our senior matchday squad, having been involved in 24 of our 27 games this season.

Lenna made 16 appearances across all competitions in this campaign, with 12 of those in the Barclays Women’s Super League, three in the Subway Women’s League Cup and one in the Adobe Women’s FA Cup, and she was nominated for Young Player of the Season at the 2024/25 Women’s Football Awards.

After completing her first full season in the WSL, she penned a new deal with the Club until 2028.

Lenna made her debut for the first team in the 5-1 win over Coventry United in the Women’s League Cup in November, 2022, in which she scored the final goal of the game and her first at senior level.

She went on to make five more senior appearances across the Barclays Women’s Super League, League and FA Cup during the 2022/23 campaign.

In 2023/24, Lenna spent the season on dual-registration with Ipswich Town, where she finished as the club’s second-highest goalscorer with 14 goals in all competitions for The Tractor Girls.
