Player Season Stats

Jess Naz returned to the Club ahead of the 2018/19 season, having initially been here between the ages of 12 and 15.

Following an impressive 2023/24 for our number seven, where she recorded her highest goal involvements while in Lilywhite, Jess continued to be a pivotal part of our front line this term, featuring in 26 of our 27 games in all competitions, with 22 appearances coming in the WSL, where she scored twice in the competition – three in total.

After receiving her maiden call-up to the England senior squad in May, 2024, and making her debut for the Lionesses in July, 2024, she has since earned a further five caps for her country to date.

After making her return to the Club for our second season in the FA Women’s Championship, Jess started in 17 games in the second tier, scoring four times, and helped us earned promotion to the WSL for the first time in our history.

An unfortunate knee injury sustained while competing for us in a pre-season tournament in Spain during the summer of 2019 meant she was sidelined for the entire 2019/20 campaign, our first in the WSL.

She returned to action as a substitute in a 3-1 home win over Brighton & Hove Albion in December, 2020, and went on to make 12 appearances in all competitions in the second half of that campaign, scoring an extra-time winner in a Women’s FA Cup tie at Reading in April, 2021.

Following a disrupted first two seasons in the WSL, Jess managed to net her first goal in England’s top flight as she scored the winner in a 1-0 over Reading in September, 2021, scoring one more time in that campaign, while also registering four assists. She made 23 appearances in total for 2021/22, with 18 of those coming in the WSL.

Her strong campaign saw her named the Women’s Young Player of the Year at the London Football Awards in March, 2022.

Our number seven grabbed a further two goals in the WSL in the following term, featuring in 15 of the 22 matches, making 21 appearances in all competitions.

2023/24 was a standout year for Jess. Making 32 appearances in total, 22 in the WSL, she registered 11 goal involvements (seven goals and four assists) across all competitions – her best goalscoring return in a campaign so far in her career – including scoring the equaliser in the Women’s FA Cup Semi-Final against Leicester City as we reached the final for the first time in our history.
