Defender Ella Morris completed her move to us in July, 2024, following a seven-year spell at Southampton.
Ella caught the eye with an impressive run of performances in her maiden season in the Barclays Women’s Super League.
She enjoyed a strong year in N17, seeing her named Junior Supporters’ Player of the Season before earning a first call-up to the England senior squad in May, 2025, becoming just the third player to be named as a Lioness while playing for us.
Despite an injury-hampered first half of the campaign, Ella started and completed every single minute in our last eight games in the WSL – making 13 appearances in total – and scored her first goal for the Club in the league clash with Aston Villa in April, 2025.
Unfortunately, while on international duty for England in May, she suffered an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury.
Ella joined Southampton at the age of 14 and progressed through their academy system before breaking into the first team, making her senior debut during the 2018/19 campaign.
She recorded 117 appearances for the south coast club and scored 14 goals in that time, helping them earn promotion to the FA Women's Championship for the first time in their history in May, 2022.
On the international stage, she has represented England at Under-23s level on a regular basis since earning her first cap for the Young Lionesses in April, 2023.
