Player Season Stats

Australian international Clare Hunt completed the switch from Paris Saint-Germain to Spurs ahead of the 2024/25 campaign.

Immediately into the starting XI, Clare made her debut in the WSL season opener at home to Crystal Palace in September, 2024, and just three games later, she opened her account for the Club in the narrow defeat to Liverpool in October.

Having started in 10 consecutive games for us in the WSL, where she was only substituted twice in that, the defender made 21 appearances in total for 2024/25, 18 starts, and grabbed her second goal of the campaign, once again coming against Liverpool but this time at St Helens Stadium in April, 2025.

Continuing to cement her spot in the Australia senior squad, earning 33 caps to date, Clare scored her first goal for the Matildas in an international friendly against Germany in October, 2024.

She began her career at Canberra United, where she made her A-League debut in November, 2016, while during her time with the club, she achieved a Bachelor of Science at the University of Sydney.

She then joined Western Sydney Wanderers, captaining the side in her second season and was voted in the PFA A-League's Team of the Season for the 2022/23 campaign.

After seven seasons in her native country, Clare moved to France to join Paris Saint-Germain, claiming silverware in her only season there as they lifted the French Cup in May, 2024.

The defender made her senior debut for Australia national team in February, 2023, before being selected for the 2023 FIFA World Cup on home soil, featuring in all seven games for the Matildas.

She was also named in the 2024 Olympic squad in Paris, playing every single minute during their campaign.
