Player Season Stats

Goalkeeper Becky Spencer joined us from West Ham United in July, 2019.

A vastly experienced player in the Barclays FA Women's Super League, she joined the Hammers in the summer of 2018 from Chelsea and made 16 appearances for them.

She began her career in the youth system at Watford before moving to Arsenal, later spending time on loan at Nottingham Forest and Gillingham.

After playing for ASJ Soyaux in France, she returned to the UK and had two separate spells at Birmingham City, either side of a return to Arsenal.

Following her arrival here at Spurs, she was a regular starter in goal for us during our first campaign in the WSL in 2019/20, making 15 appearances in all competitions during the truncated campaign.

She again played regularly for us during 2020/21, aside from a short spell on the sidelines through injury at the start of 2021, making 21 appearances in all competitions.

In 2021/22, she made another 15 appearances in all competitions and kept five clean sheets.

Capped by England at Under-19 and Under-20 levels, Becky received a call-up to the senior England squad in 2016 but, in June, 2021, made her senior international debut for Jamaica, keeping a clean sheet in a 1-0 victory over Nigeria.
