Byrne signs new contract

We’re delighted to announce that Harry Byrne has signed a new, long-term contract with the club.

Having joined us at the age of seven and first turned pro at the end of last season, the 18-year-old has continued to make good progress in our Under-18s this term, featuring regularly as an inverted left-back.

A dead-ball specialist, he scored his first league goal at Under-18 level in last month’s 2-1 win at Ipswich Town, having opened his European account in our Under-19s’ impressive 6-0 UEFA Youth League win at Bodo/Glimt back in September.

An Under-17 Premier League Cup winner with us in 2024/25, Harry earned his first international call-up earlier this season, representing Republic of Ireland Under-19s.
