It’s the first international break of 2026, with a number of our players set to represent their countries over the next couple of weeks.
The Women’s Asian Cup gets underway next month and we have three of our players involved in the tournament – Clare Hunt for Australia while Tōko Koga and Maika Hamano will be representing Japan.
As for our European players, meanwhile, the journey begins for the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup as the qualifying stages gets underway next month, with Hanna Wijk, Matilda Vinberg and Amanda Nildén all earning a recall to the Sweden senior squad for their qualifiers against Italy and Sweden.
We have two Academy players that are set to be in action including Under-19s forward Eloise Summers-Mee, who has earned her first call-up to the Scotland Under-19s squad for their training camp followed with friendlies against Belgium.
