A Spurs fan, Les joined us from Newcastle United in the summer of 1997 and spent a total of 12 years here, six as a player from 1997-2003, six in coaching roles, 2008-2014. Laid low by injuries during his playing spell, he scored 39 goals in 149 appearances for us. He scored 149 goals in the Premier League in spells at QPR, Newcastle, West Ham, Leicester, Bolton, Reading and Watford, including 41 in 68 appearances as Newcastle twice challenged for the title, 1995-97.
While Teddy joined us first in 1992 and went on to claim the Premier's Golden Boot in the competition's inaugural season (1992/93). Over the course of two spells at the Club (1992-97 and 2001-03), he scored 124 goals for us in all competitions and scored 146 career goals in the Premier League.
Michael Carrick is another Spurs alumni on the list. His time with us was short - just two seasons 2004/05 and 2005/06 - but what a class act he was in our midfield. He made 75 appearances in Lilywhite before joining Manchester United in 2006 where he went on to win five Premier League titles.
Sol Campbell (315 appearances, 1992-2001)and former youth coach Yaya Toure are also shortlisted. They are joined by Patrice Evra, Cesc Fabregas, Robbie Fowler, Eden Hazard, Gary Neville, Michael Owen, David Silva, Edwin van der Sar and Nemanja Vidic.
