Yang strikes again for Portsmouth

Yang Min-Hyeok has had a week to remember for Portsmouth.

On loan at the south coast side for the 2025/26 season, the forward scored his second goal in as many games on Saturday with him really beginning to find his feet at Fratton Park.

After a frustrating start to life with Pompey, the Korean international has now started each of their last three league games and he has gone on to find the back of the net in each of his last two.

Having bagged Pompey's opener in Wednesday's 2-2 draw with Watford, he then struck the winner on Saturday as the men in blue defeated league leaders Middlesbrough at their famous old ground.

Coming in very similar fashion to his strike against the Hornets, the 19-year-old volleyed home a cross from the right against Boro to see his side grab their first win in five.

He played 78 minutes on his fifth appearance for the club before being replaced by Harvey Blair.
