Tandberg your Player of the Match after win over Brighton

Mon 06 October 2025, 14:00|Tottenham Hotspur

Cathinka Tandberg has been named your HSBC Player of the Match after her goal proved to be the difference in our 1-0 win over Brighton & Hove Albion on Sunday.

Having already claimed the award this term following her impressive performance at Everton last month, ‘Tinka’ was once again on the scoresheet as she continued her fine goalscoring form in the Barclays Women’s Super League.

Making her fourth consecutive start in England’s top flight, the Norway international made it two goals in consecutive league games – taking her tally to a total of three in five matches in her first month at the Club.

Following a lovely build-up play down the left-hand side, a teasing low cross from Jess Naz found Tinka at the back post and she calmly slotted away to open the scoring just before the half hour mark at Brisbane Road.

That goal proved to be the match winner in the end as another resilient defensive performance in the second period saw us hold off the Seagulls to make it 12 points out of 15 in Head Coach Martin Ho’s tenure so far.
