Fri 14 November 2025, 23:02|Tottenham Hotspur

It won't be long until the 2026 FIFA World Cup is upon us and our players and their nations are beginning to book their places at the showpiece event.

Set to be played out across three countries for the first time, the USA, Canada and Mexico will host the tournament across June and July, 2026 - and qualifying for it is well under way.

The tournament that all players dream to play at, the 2026 edition will make history not just for having three hosts, but it will also be the first to feature 48 nations - the largest ever World Cup.

Here is a list of who has qualified already for the tournament...

Qualified - 2026 FIFA World Cup

Korea Republic - Yang Min-Hyeok (two caps)

Japan - Kota Takai (four caps)

Argentina - Cristian Romero (45 caps)

Brazil - Richarlison (52 caps)

Uruguay - Rodrigo Bentancur (71 caps)

Ghana - Mohammed Kudus (46 caps)

Senegal - Pape Matar Sarr (37 caps)

England - Djed Spence (3 caps), James Maddison (7 caps), Dominic Solanke (3 caps)

France - Randal Kolo Muani (31 caps)

Croatia - Luka Vuskovic (two caps)

Players and their nations who can qualify in November, 2025

Portugal - Joao Palhinha

Joao's nation can also qualify for the World Cup with a win this Sunday. A victory over Armenia will make certain of their spot.

The Netherlands - Micky van de Ven and Xavi Simons

Our Dutch duo have all-but qualified for the tournament after their 1-1 draw with Poland on Friday. They have a big goal swing in their favour, but a point at home to Lithuania on Monday would make mathematically sure.

Spain - Pedro Porro

Pedro could also help his nation to the World Cup this week. To qualify, Spain will need to beat Georgia on Saturday 15 November and hope Turkey are unable to beat Bulgaria.

Austria - Kevin Danso

Kevin could also be a World Cup qualifier by the end of the week with his nation Austria on the cusp of a place in North America. They will need to beat Cyprus on Saturday 15 November and hope that Bosnia and Herzegovina fail to beat Romania.
