We are delighted to announce that Lenna Gunning-Williams has signed a new contract with the Club, which runs until 2028.

The 20-year-old Academy graduate has become a regular in our senior matchday squad, having been involved in 24 of our 27 games this season.

Lenna made 16 appearances across all competitions in this campaign, with 12 of those in the Barclays Women’s Super League, three in the Subway Women’s League Cup and one in the Adobe Women’s FA Cup, and she was nominated for Young Player of the Season at the 2024/25 Women’s Football Awards.

Having progressed through our Academy set-up, the young forward made her senior debut at the age of 17 in November, 2022, in a 5-1 win over Coventry United in the Women’s League Cup, where she also scored her first goal for the Club at senior level.

Penning her first professional contract in July, 2023, Lenna then joined Ipswich Town on loan for the 2023/24 campaign to gain further experience at senior level, scoring 14 goals in 26 games for the Tractor Girls.

On the international stage, she earned a maiden call-up to England Under-23s squad in October, 2024, and has since established herself as a regular squad member with the Young Lionesses.
