Vicario wins Premier League's Save of the Month prize

Guglielmo Vicario has been awarded the Premier League's Save of the Month title for April.
Our number one, who has previously been nominated for the prize on several occasions since his move to north London from Empoli in July, 2023, has finally received the honour with his stunning save to deny Chelsea's Jadon Sancho being recognised.
Coming in our 1-0 defeat at Stamford Bridge last month, the shot stopper pulled off a quite breathtaking save just before the break to keep the deficit to one.
On the stroke of half-time, the goalkeeper was primed and ready as the ball dropped to Sancho around 10 yards out from goal. The winger took one touch before firing fiercely towards goal but Vicario was alive and managed to stretch his right hand out, making a solid enough connection to turn the ball over the crossbar.
