Our Global Football Development team wrapped up their busy tour of Asia by announcing a new international football development partner in Korea.

Our partnership with Chadwick International School will see a member of our renowned GFD team based at the school for six months a year for the next three years.

Legendary former skipper Ledley King, Ryan Norys, Chief Revenue Officer and Head of GFD, Danny Mitchell announced the partnership and presented a shirt to David Snipes, Director of Athletics and Community Programmes and Ted Hill, School Principal. That followed a session with players from Chadwick’s Men’s/Women’s First XI and an Opening Ceremony with 100 members of the school community.

The GFD team also delivered two training sessions with K League clubs in Seoul - taking the total of players coached across the tour of Hong Kong and Korea to 625.

Reflecting on GFD's work on tour, Danny said: "It was an incredible experience to go back to Korea for a third time. What made this visit extra special was being able to announce our newest international football development partner with Chadwick International School.

"That means over the next three years, a member of our team will be based at the school for six months each year to lead and support the school's football programme. We have a huge following in Korea, so to be able to support the legacy of the Club’s work is truly an honour. A special thanks to Ted Hill and David Snipes who were instrumental in setting up our partnership with Chadwick International.

"Alongside this we also worked with K-League Clubs Ansan Greeners and Chungbuk Cheongju, which was another great experience. We hope we can continue to support players and coaches in Korea as part of our work with Chadwick International. We are excited to get started!"
