100 up for Ayane in the WSL

Rosella Ayane has become the latest player to make 100 Barclays Women’s Super League appearances.

The forward racked up a century in the competition after coming on as a second half substitute in the 3-2 defeat to Aston Villa at Brisbane Road on Sunday.

Having joined the Cub in July, 2019, from Bristol City and was part of our first-ever squad to compete in England’s top flight. She has since surpassed 100 appearances for the Club back in March, 2024, and has since on to feature in 107 games across all competitions.

Since making the move to north London, Rosella has played in 79 WSL games for us, while also featuring in 15 for Bristol City and six for Chelsea prior to becoming a Lilywhite.

In her 100 WSL appearances, the 29-year-old has scored on five occasions, with four of those coming in our colours.
