Matter of stats | Man City vs Spurs - can Deki do it again at the Etihad?
Fri 22 November 2024, 17:35|Tottenham Hotspur
All eyes on Dejan Kulusevski as we travel to Manchester City in the Premier League on Saturday (5.30pm UK).
The Sweden skipper has been in splendid form anyway, but he's delivered on all three of his visits to the Etihad - including his first goal on his first start for us back in February, 2021.
Deki's had a hand in more Premier League goals against Man City (five – three goals, two assists) than he has against any other side, scoring or assisting five of our last nine league goals against Pep Guardiola's team. He was there again last term with a flying header to secure a 3-3 draw in another thriller where we led 1-0, trailed 2-1 and 3-2 and then pulled it out of the fire late again.
Deki isn't the only Spur with form at the home of the champions of the last four seasons - Heung-Min Son has three goals and three assists in his last six visits to the Sky Blue side of Manchester, and 12 goal involvements (8 goals, 4 assists) - he's only got more against Southampton (17), West Ham (15), Leicester (15) and Everton (13).
